The Program
The Town of Tonawanda Junior Golf Program offers youth an opportunity to play golf in a fun, structured environment. This weekly summer program gives kids the ability to learn about the game of golf while improving their own golf skills. The program fits golfers of any skill level and preaches values of honesty, proper golf etiquette, and pace of play. The program is split into three sections, based on age and golf experience, and offers kids the ability to golf with their friends, as well as meet other golfers within the program.

Age Groups
            Juniors                      15-18 years old    
         Sub Juniors                   10-14 years old
        Sub Juniors (9-Hole)        10-14 years old

Time & Location 
The 8-week program takes place on Monday mornings at Brighton Park Golf Course and begins June 24th, 2013. All golfers will be expected to be ready to play 30 minutes before their scheduled tee time.
                Scheduled Times:
                Juniors                        9:00 am-10:00 am        arrival-8:30 am
                Sub-Juniors                 10:00 am - 11:00 am     arrival-9:15 am
                Sub Juniors (9-Hole)     11:00 am - 12:30pm      arrival-10:15 am
A select number of top golfers also have the opportunity to travel with one of the program's two "travel teams" to other courses each week. Travel teams play at various public and private courses in the area and compete against other towns who have similar programs.

Fees
The cost for joining the Junior Golf Program is $20. All junior golfers are encouraged to purchase one of two passes for the golf season:
Junior Golf Pass  $225.00: This pass identifies the residency of the Junior Golfer and no additional greens fees would be charged for the Junior Golf League.
Youth Access Card  $8.00:  This card identifies the Junior Golfer as a resident of the Town of Tonawanda or Village of Kenmore and they will pay $10.00 greens fees for the Junior Golf League each week.

Lessons
The Town of Tonawanda also offers lessons for beginners or those looking to enhance their skill set. These lessons are seperate from the Junior Golf Program. For more information click here.
