Description of Key Areas
New - Office Parks

Riverview Solar Technology Park

Riverview Solar Technology Park is an innovative 180 acre business park opened in 2007 and located on a beautiful setting next to the Niagara River.  Tenants here can enjoy the luxury of receiving all or a portion of their energy needs generated from onsite solar facilities.

This New York State Shovel Ready Certified Solar Park is a truly unique environment – having a focus on green energy and preserving its natural surroundings while providing an economic vehicle to benefit the community.  The park developer’s stated mission was to create the energy and synergy at Riverview to attract organizations and institutions that will take full advantage of benefits available at New York’s first Solar Technology Park.

Currently there are two existing multi-tenant buildings with an approved SEQRA to construct over 1,000,000 square feet of space.

Colvin Woods Business Park

One of the newest office parks in the Town of Tonawanda, Colvin Woods Business Park is located on a 40-acre site situated along the south side of the I-290 between Colvin Boulevard and Delaware Avenue.  It is within minutes of four international border crossings and is a short 15-minute drive from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

Currently home to J.W. Danforth, United HealthCare and the U.S. Border Patrol, Colvin Woods has approximately 14 acres remaining for development and is zoned for a Performance Standards Use District.

North Youngmann Commerce Centre

The North Youngmann Commerce Center (NYCC) is an 80-acre parcel of town-owned land located immediately adjacent to the I-290. The town has completed the SEQR approval process and has secured funding for access roads from East Park Drive and Two Mile Creek Road.
