Committee on Future Library
The Library Advisory Committee (Advisory Committee for the Future of Library Services for the Kenmore-Tonawanda Community) was formed at the request of the Tonawanda Town Board in January 2006 in the aftermath of the closing of three town libraries as a result of the Erie County fiscal crisis of 2005. Its mission is to assess the current state of community library services, and to recommend how the town might bring its library services into the 21st century.
