Records Management & FOIL Requests
Responsibilities
The town clerk serves as the records management officer for the municipality and is responsible for managing all town records including active files, storage and disposition of inactive records and maintaining all archival materials.

The town clerk also serves as the administrator for the Freedom of Information Law, which guarantees your right to know the workings of the government.  FOIL requests may be made to the town clerk's office by submitting a request in writing.
