A Message from the Superintendent
A Message from Superintendent William E. Swanson
Swanson_Leafer.JPG

Thank you for visiting the Town of Tonawanda Highway Department’s web page.

Now that the weather has turned cooler, leaves are changing colors and falling to the ground. This year, we are asking for your help with leaf collection. We are asking as many residents as possible to bag your leaves and place them at the curb for collection by our sanitation crews.

We will still be sending leaf crews out and collecting them as we always have, but if you can bag them it would be a tremendous help in saving on manpower and disposal costs.

Our forestry and sanitation crews continue to be busy and our highway crews are preparing for the upcoming winter season.

Once again, thank you for stopping by our page and if you have any questions about what we do, please do not hesitate to contact us at 875-8822.

Sincerely,
 Bill
