Santa Claus is coming to town! Join your neighbors on Friday, December 1 to welcome Santa as he arrives to the Village Green (in front of the Municipal Building, 2919 Delaware). Sponsored by the Village of Kenmore and Town of Tonawanda Youth, Parks and Recreation, with special thanks to the Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department and Kenmore Village Improvement Society, this event is free and open to the public. The fun starts at 6:30pm. All are welcome to enjoy hot chocolate and donuts, participate in holiday trivia, join in the annual holiday sing along, and visit with Santa’s friends. Santa arrives by fire truck at 7:00pm to light the tree. Everyone will have the chance to visit with the jolly old elf and receive a candy cane inside the Municipal Building. The Ken-Ton Kiwanis will also be there selling their giant coloring books and The Lake Effect will fill the building with holiday music. Magician Dave Jeffers will be performing outside to keep you entertained while you wait to see Santa and horse-drawn wagon rides will be running until 8:30pm.
