The Town of Tonawanda Police Department will be conducting a dog census throughout the Town of Tonawanda and Village of Kenmore beginning July 5, 2018. All dogs identified during the census will be checked for a valid Town of Tonawanda / Village of Kenmore dog license. If a resident is found harboring an unlicensed dog, they will be given 15 days to acquire a license. The Town of Tonawanda / Village of Kenmore Local Law requires that all dogs 4 months of age and older must have current Town of Tonawanda / Village of Kenmore dog license. A current rabies certificate is required to purchase a dog license. Residents can aquire a dog license at the Town Clerk's Office, 2919 Delaware Ave, Room 14, Kenmore, New York 14217. For your added convenience, the Town Clerk's office now accepts American Express as another payment option for paying taxes and dog licenses online.
